CHECKERS IN-HOUSE BUTCHERY AT KENILWORTH CENTRE (KC) IS NO LONGER HALAL

The MJC Halaal Trust (MJCHT) hereby wishes to inform the Muslim community that the butchery at CHECKERS in KENILWORTH CENTRE (KC) is no longer ḥalāl certified.

The Management of Shoprite/Checkers has decided that the in-house butchery at Checkers in Kenilworth Centre (KC) will no longer be trading as ḥalāl, with immediate effect.

We trust that the Muslim community shall be mindful of the Notification, as mentioned above.
